Hand-operated accelerator and brake control Carospeed is a hand-operated lever with accelerator and brake control. The pedal functions are transferred to this lever which is mounted next to the driver seat. Acceleration occurs when the lever is pulled backwards and the brake control when is pushed forward. This makes Carospeed very easy to handle. Carospeed is ergonomically styled and shaped to fit in with the rest of the car interior. It has been developed in conjuction with the disabled and the pedal function has been retained so that there is no risk of accelerating and braking simultaneously. The temporary handbrake control system is activated after pushing the button on top of the lever. This holds the car in stop position when the driver wants to perform something else with his hand, e.g. Change the gear. Carospeed is installed in most car models with an automatic gear box. The pedals remain in their original position so that the car can be driven otherwise. The system can be removed easily and the car can be replaced in its original status. |

Carospeed comes in an electrical version also. Carospeed E is designed to make driving the easiest possible. Using a four-way joystick the driver has the ability to handle functions like: left and right flash light, alarm flash light, windscreen wipers, horn and traffic lights. With Carospeed E the driver doesn't need to move his arm from the lever to operate these functions.
